MyShot08™ offers students an opportunity to gain valuable exposure, see their best work showcased in hot-selling digital formats, and have a chance at cash awards, career-building experiences and much more. MyShot08™ – It’s where the art of student digital photography meets state-of-the-art digital color printing.

Contest Categories

The market for digital photo specialty is growing fast. We chose three of the hottest digital color printing applications as the categories where students can enter their work and see finished pieces printed on the Xerox DocuColor 240 Digital Color Printer / Copier on Xerox digitally optimized papers.

Photo books: An excellent option for showing a collection of any subject.

Greeting cards: Individualized cards have dozens of uses, and make self promotion easy and affordable.

Calendars: A single-page format lets students see their work printed on a large scale.

Lead Judge, MyShot08™
George Kamper’s work has been published in Vogue, Rolling Stone, GQ, and Life. Much of his success comes from taking on each project with a fresh perspective, deep curiosity, and a willingness to test and explore.  Jim Hamilton
InfoTrends

Jim Hamilton has been involved in the graphic arts and publishing industries since 1980, and a member of InfoTrends’ On Demand Printing & Publishing Consulting Service since 1995. Jim has also worked as a freelance graphic designer in the textbook publishing industry. He has an M.S. Salem Krieger
Professional Photographer
Salem Krieger photographs are known for their social commentary and distinctive style.
